I would like to enter this lovely gift box into Challenge #15 over at Delicious Doodles. The title of their challenge this week is ANYTHING BUT A CARD.
I have used one of my all-time favourite colour combinations, and have combined those with a variety of Punches and Dies.
I have used Spellbinders IRONWORK MOTIFS for the top of the box, which have then been embossed with the SWISS DOTS folder for added textures. The centrepiece is made up of two layers of Spellbinders CROWNED CIRCLES DIES, which have the addition of red and white pearls to decorate and also add texture.
The image is by Delicious Doodles called LOVEY DOVEY BIRDS SILHOUETTE which has been punched with a round scalloped punch.
Around the edge of the lid, I have added white lace. The border around the box has been punched with the Martha Stewart BUBBLEBATH punch. The flowers have been made using the SUN & DAISY punches with pearls. The card used for the base is silver mirror card, then red and black pearlised card, with a silver metallic border in the centre.
